How do I find the studio?

Harmonic Egg Saco is inside the brick mill building at 110 Main Street, Suite 1210, in downtown Saco, Maine. Park in the front lot, with more parking around back, downhill.

Come in through the main entrance and take the elevator. It opens on the other side, and Suite 1210 is right down the hallway. If you prefer the stairs, take a right at the elevator, follow the hallway to the stairs, and head down. The home page has a short video walkthrough from the parking lot to the door.

What happens at the intake?

Your first visit starts with a short conversation with Judy or Bill. They ask what brings you in and use your answers to choose the music and light for your session.

You can download the intake form ahead of time and bring it printed, or fill it out when you arrive. Either way works. You decide how much to share.

What happens inside the Egg?

The Harmonic Egg is a wooden, egg-shaped chamber built for one person. You settle into a zero-gravity chair, the door closes, and music composed for the chamber fills the space while colored light slowly shifts around you.

• 40 minutes of music and light. There is nothing to do and no one talking to you.
• 10 minutes of quiet. The music stops and you rest in stillness before getting up.
• An electrolyte drink. Offered on your way out.

Plan on about an hour at the studio, a little longer on your first visit for the intake.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing you can rest in. There is nothing to change into and nothing worn on your body. No headphones, no straps, no equipment. You simply recline as you are.

Can I stop the session or keep the door open?

Yes. Your comfort comes first, and a session can be paused or ended at any time. On early or sensory-sensitive visits, the door can stay open.

What happens after my session?

Practitioners suggest treating the five to seven days after a session as quiet integration time. Guests describe that week differently, and it varies from person to person. Some like to keep their schedule a little lighter that evening.
